See Who Has Signed Up on a Route
Check each saved route stop by stop for the season — who has a contract, who has a quote out, and who has not signed up yet — before the season starts or during it.
Updated September 30, 2026
Open a route and see, customer by customer, who is signed up for the season and who is not yet. Before the season it is your renewal worksheet for next year's routes; during the season it tells you who is actually live.
Check a Route
Open Sign-ups
Go to Dispatch → Saved Routes and switch the view to Sign-ups. Each route is a card that reads, for example, 18 of 24 signed up, with the quote-out and not-signed-up counts underneath.
Pick the season
Use Season. The board opens on the season still running — once a season's window has closed (a lake season on October 1), it moves on to next year. To work on next year's routes early, pick the season marked (next). Picking a seasonal book under Route Book jumps to that book's season.
Open a route's stops
Press Show N stops on a card. Each stop lists the customer and site, its status, and the evidence — the contract and its dates, or the quote and what happened to it. Both are links, so you can check the record itself.
Narrow it down
The buttons under the pickers — All, Not signed up, Quote out, Signed up — filter the stops. The search box finds a customer or site, and the work-type bar at the top of Saved Routes limits it to one kind of work. While a filter or search is on, every card opens by itself so the matching stops are in view. The totals at the top stay the season's totals.
The Routes view has the same answer at a glance: the Signed up column shows 18 / 24
for the season named in its header. Click it to open Sign-ups on that route.
What Each Status Means
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Signed up | The customer has a contract for this site and work type covering the season. |
| Quote out | No contract yet, but a quote for the season has been sent and has not expired. Viewed means the customer opened it. |
| Not signed up | Neither. The detail says why: the quote was declined, expired, or is still a draft; the contract was cancelled; an automatic renewal did not run; or there is no quote yet. |
| No contract needed | The work type is not sold on contracts. Left out of the counts. |
Tags on a stop add detail. Starts May 1, 2027 means they signed ahead of the season. Renews automatically means an Ongoing contract will carry them into the season. Ends Aug 31, 2027 means the contract stops well before the season does. Paused and Inactive speak for themselves. On a Not signed up stop, On contract in 2026 marks a renewal you are chasing rather than a new customer.
How a contract is placed in a season
By its dates, not by the season number stored on it. A contract counts for a season when it is live today inside that season, covers most of that season, or has more of its term in that season than any other — so a March-to-February agreement belongs to the year it started, not the one it ends in. Quotes are placed by the dates the contract they create would get.
Chase the Stragglers
Press Not signed up, then Download CSV. The file lists every stop still showing — route, stop number, customer, site, status, reason, and whether they were on contract last season — ready to work through or to build a renewal quote campaign from.
If Something Looks Wrong
| What you see | Why | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| A customer who signed shows Not signed up | You are looking at a different season | Switch Season — a next-season contract counts in next season |
| A quote you sent is not shown | It is counted in another season — without a Season Year, an open quote counts in the current year | Open the quote and set its Season Year |
| QU-… accepted, but its contract is not dated for the 2027 season | The accepted quote updated an existing contract without new dates | Open the contract and correct its dates |
| … ended Dec 31, 2025 and did not renew | An Ongoing contract ended and its automatic renewal was never created | Open the contract and renew it, or check that automatic renewal is on |
| A stop shows No contract needed | Its work type does not require a contract | Expected — it is not part of the counts |
Frequently asked questions
A customer signed for next season but shows Not signed up. Why?
Check the season picker. The board opens on the season still running, so in August it shows this season. Switch to next season — their new contract starts in the future and counts there.
Why does a pool customer show Signed up for next season when nothing has been renewed yet?
Their contract is Ongoing, so it renews itself shortly before it ends. The stop is tagged Renews automatically. It only reads that way while your company's automatic renewal is on and the customer is active — otherwise it shows Not signed up.
I sent a renewal quote but the stop still says No quote yet.
The quote is probably counted in a different season. A quote with no Season Year and no agreement dates is counted in the current year while it is open, because that is the year approving it would date the contract — so a renewal quote sent in the fall lands in this season, not next. Set the Season Year on renewal quotes.
Are draft routes included?
Yes. Next season's route book is usually a draft until you activate it, which is exactly when you are checking renewals. Archived routes are left out.
What does No contract needed mean?
The stop's work type is not sold on contracts (it does not require a contract for scheduled visits), and the customer has none on file. Those stops are left out of the counts.
